The organization was established in 1999 with the primary objective of providing education and rehabilitation to disabled children. It operates within the Kolar district, specifically in the Malur taluk, identifying disabled children in both government and private schools, and offering them education and rehabilitation. The organization surveys out-of-school disabled children, enrolling them in schools and securing government benefits for them.

Given that it is challenging for severely disabled children, especially those with intellectual disabilities, to receive education in regular schools, the organization has established a free residential special school in Malur for intellectually disabled children. The organization also conducts social activities for the rehabilitation of disabled children, women, elderly individuals, and orphans, with the support of state and central government.
