ABOUT US

Nandadeepa Education and Rehabilitation Society (NERS)

Established in 1999, the organization’s primary goal has been to educate and rehabilitate disabled children. Initially, it focused on identifying disabled children in both government and private schools throughout Malur taluk in the Kolar district, providing them with education and rehabilitation services. Understanding the difficulties faced by severely handicapped children, particularly those with mental disabilities, in regular schools, the organization launched a free residential special school for mentally retarded children in Malur. Over time, with support from state and central governments, the organization has broadened its efforts to empower and uplift disabled children, women, elderly individuals, orphans, and marginalized communities neglected by society.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a vocational rehabilitation center for children with mental challenges, offering recreational activities that support their overall development and facilitate their integration into society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to eliminate disabilities through transformative programs, create valuable resources, and establish specialized institutions for vocational and educational training.
